Just this month it was reported that the 1836 house that inspired the horror film, The Conjuring, is on the market in Rhode Island. Though legend has it, the house is haunted, it is being listed for $1.2 million, Newsweek previously reported.

While not every house featured in your favorite movie is on the market, or even a real home at all, these six homes certainly are.

The Conjuring

This home, located at 1677 Round Top Road in Burrillville, Rhode Island, inspired the events portrayed in the 2013 film. As previously reported by Newsweek, The Blackstone Team of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty, who listed the home, said the events depicted in the film have been confirmed by paranormal researchers. With a listing price of $1.2 million, buyers will not only get the house itself but the eight acres of land it sits on.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

Though some of the iconic 1980s film was shot in California, the home where Ferris’ best friend Cameron lives really stood in the suburbs of Chicago—where the movie takes place. Curbed Chicago reported that after being on the market for five years, the house sold for $1.06 million in 2014. Fans will remember the modern-looking glass and steel house from the scene where Cameron’s father’s red Ferrari crashes through the glass window.

Twilight

Not one, but two of the homes featured in the vampire romance, Twilight, are real homes in Oregon. The modern home used for the Cullens is a popular tourist stop, though according to Zillow is not currently on the market. But, for mega-fans, there is an opportunity to rent the house that Bella Swan and her father lived in on Airbnb. The five-bedroom house goes for up to $450 a night and according to the listing, they are fully booked for the next year. Bookings are accepted a year out and each first of the month, the hosts open up bookings for the following year.

Sleepless in Seattle

According to the Puget Sound Business Journal, the house boat shown in the romantic classic starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan sold for over $2 million in 2014. Unlike some films where only the exterior of a house is used, in the case of Sleepless in Seattle, many interior shots of the home were used as well, the PSBJ reported. When the home was first listed in 2008, after the owners of 21 years decided to sell it, they had to take the listing down in response to all the people who would come to take photos of the house.

A Star is Born

In the devastating 2019 remake, audiences watch Ally and Jackson Maine’s tumultuous romance unravel. One of the backdrops in which their relationship develops is Jackson’s home which is supposed to be in Topanga, California. In reality, the home is in the luxurious city of Calabasas. According to Discover Los Angeles, the home was built in 1973 and designed by Douglas Rucker.

My Girl

Anyone who has seen My Girl won’t soon forget the heartbreaking story of a young friendship between Thomas and Vada played by Macaulay Culkin and Anna Chlumsky. In the film, Vada’s father owns a funeral parlor in Pennsylvania, though the real home is in Florida. In July, Newsweek reported the home was on sale for $675,000.
