South Mumbai once more witnessed exciting football packed weekends in the month of October and November as India’s largest community football tournament comes to a close this weekend.

The Championship would also serve as a talent hunt for thirty talented youngsters who will be shortlisted for a coaching clinic that will be conducted exclusively by Queens Park Rangers youth coaches from the UK.

The first phase of matches (Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals) will be held from 10am to 2pm in the Boys (Under-8, U-10, U-12) and Girls (Under-10, U-12, U-14, U16), which are then followed by the prize distribution ceremony.

The second phase of matches (Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals) will be held from 1.40pm to 4.20pm in the boys Under-14 and Under-16 category, which are then followed by the prize distribution ceremony.

The tournament is organised by the Milind Deora Initiative in partnership with English championships side Queens Park Rangers FC, and is sponsored by the Aditya Birla Nuvo and Omkar Realtors & Developers, and co-sponsored by HDFC Bank. The event is managed by Saran Sports.
