Court documents show Curtis Jackson filed a voluntary petition for Chapter 11 protection Monday.

Jackson, known as 50 Cent, is listed as manager and sole manager of SMS Promotions. 50 Cent resides in Farmington, Conn., in a mansion previously owned by Mike Tyson.

Records show that Jackson listed estimated assets between $100,000-$500,000 and liabilities for the same amounts.

50 Cent launched SMS Promotions in 2012, signing former featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa and Olympic medalist Andre Dirrell.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. joined Jackson for a brief time in 2012 with the goal of co-promoting fights. The two had a very public, and contentious split, over numerous issues.
