50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, retweeted the video, which was posted by reporter and podcaster Elijah Schaefer, who writes for conservative outlet The Blaze. The video shows people marching near the White House, as a woman bends over, puts her hands on the ground and twerks. As she’s dancing, a group of girls near her smack her butt and scream. It’s unclear what they shouted, although at one point it sounds like one is calling out, “What’s the word?”

It’s also unclear, just from this brief four-second clip, if they were with the girl and shouting support for her, or with other protesters nearby and shouting at them, or actually against the protesters.

In various tweets, Schaefer claimed that the people in the video were both Black Lives Matter protesters and members of Antifa (even though Antifa is not an actual organization).

The Get Rich or Die Trying rapper shared the video of the woman twerking and wrote, “hoe get out the way, this s**t is important.”

As previously reported, 50 Cent recently came under fire for voicing support for President Donald Trump, but he appeared to switch his point of view after speaking to his ex-girlfriend, comedian Chelsea Handler. The rapper shared a recent video of During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show, Handler spoke to Jimmy Fallon about 50 Cent’s apparent support of Trump; 50 Cent shared a video of that Tonight Show appearance and tweeted, “F**k Donald Trump, I never liked him.”

And in a series of tweets on Monday, 50 Cent appeared to criticize and make fun of Trump, sharing videos of him at a recent campaign rally. In the tweets, he called the president “really crazy” and said that he felt like “the world [is] over.”

He also tweeted, “If he don’t win, he’s going in,” while sharing a screenshot of a Vanity Fair article with a headline claiming that Trump is frightened about being sent to prison should he lose the election.

Despite seemingly walking back his own support for Trump, 50 Cent did come to the defense of fellow rapper Lil Wayne, who recently met with and endorsed Trump. On Tuesday, 50 Cent shared a TMZ tweet promoting a story that Weezy’s girlfriend broke up with him over his support of Trump’s re-election.

50 Cent stood up for the Carter rapper, saying that Wayne can find another girlfriend, easily. “[Y]ou can’t dump little wayne [sic]. Now you can leave, if you going than [sic] go but somebody’s waiting for the job. LOL,” he wrote.

Despite reports that Wayne’s girlfriend, model Denise Bidot, broke up with him after he threw his support behind Trump, Complex noted on Tuesday that the model appeared to deny the reports in a tweet that has since been deleted.

Contacts for 50 Cent did not respond to Newsweek’s emailed request for comment in time for publication.
